The Rocky Horror Show
Venue Ashcroft Theatre is actually part of the Fairfield Halls complex which includes Other spaces: Phoenix Concert Hall, Ashcroft Playhouse, and The Recreational.
The Show was part of the 25th Anniversary tour called “The New Rocky Horror Show”. which commenced 24/03/1998 in Billigham and ended in Plymouth 30/01/1999. According to the Program the part of Frank-n-futer was played by Ross King and Not Jason Donovan as per other venues on the same Tour and Alvin Stardust took on the Joint role of Eddie & Dr Scott.

Play description
Follows squeaky-clean sweethearts Brad and Janet on an adventure they’ll never forget, with the scandalous Frank N Furter, rippling Rocky and vivacious Magenta. Bursting at the seams with timeless classics, including ‘Sweet Transvestite’, ‘Damn It Janet’ and, of course, the pelvic-thrusting ‘Time Warp’, Get ready for a night of fun, frolics and frivolity. This is the boldest bash of them all, so fish out the fishnets, buff up your basque and sharpen those stilettos for the rockiest ride of your life! Don’t dream it – be it!
