Summer season.
John Inman had previously played Leonard Jolly on a UK tour in 1973 (qv) and an Australian one in 1980. This production dispensed with the famous nudes and on-stage swimming pool, being refashioned as an Inman vehicle. Tag-line: “Are you free for a bit of family fun?”
