Christmas in King Street

This specific production does not yet have a description, but the play itself does:

This entertainment was devised by members of the Bristol Old Vic Company and presented as a cross between a pantomime and an “end of term” revue at Christmas 1952. It was particularly tied to the history of the theatre and the city of Bristol so was not meant for performance anywhere else. It was revived in 1958 and again in 1972 to celebrate the reopening of the theatre after refurbishment. This third outing was presented under the title “Christmas Back In King Street”.

The production was divided into two segments – “In The Theatre” and “In The Play” and the full company appeared in both parts. To distinguish their roles they are listed as (TH) or (PLAY).
