Love Joe Orton’s work. Perfectly peformed. Privileged to meet James Mawell the next day and to thank him for his performance. For a working class Londoner, I enjoyed an early and consistent introduction to the theatre, my mum was a nurse, and when for unsold tickets they were offered to nurses. Mum was a night nurse, so I got to enjoy theatre from a young age. Jeremy Irons, I think ‘Taming of the Shrew’ the threatre was designed that the tickets we had, we were almost part of the production. Others I’ve had to pay for, 1989 A Clockwork Orange, music by U2 (some of), starring Phil Daniels.
I don’t have a picture to upload, but I have the poster from Entertaining Mr Sloane which I framed for a boyfriend, retrieved it when he dumped me.
