I saw this production at Nottingham Playhouse whilst still at school and clearly remember the opening scene with the coin tosses. R and G stood downstage, one on the right and one on the left with with a good 4 or 5 metres between them. The toss the coin itself was an intake of breath as everyone waited for them to drop it – they did it perfectly on the night I attended. Brilliant piece of staging that built instant attention and tension!
