Spring and Port Wine
Rupert Davies initially took over the lead role from Alfred Marks on 15th May 1967, for a brief period while Marks was on holiday. (See The Stage 11th May 1967, page 17.) He then took over permanently from 1st January 1968, when Marks left to tour the play in Australia. (See The Stage 14th December 1967, page 1.)

This play was initially seen on television as MY FLESH, MY BLOOD in 1958, with a stage production (under the same title) following at Bolton in 1959 [qv].
