As soon as tickets went on sale, I grabbed a pair. I wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity to see the great Phil Silvers. My father never missed Sgt. Bilko on TV and I watched with him.
Silvers certainly wasn’t the performer he had been, yet it was a brilliant performance and a thoroughly entertaining show.
I still appreciate the fact that I saw Phil Silvers in person.
