Pinocchio

11am in Theatre at Solihull Arts Complex, 3pm at Chelmsley Wood Library

Geppetto uses the objects of a carpenter’s workshop to tell the tale of the puppet that wants to be a real boy, and the puppet-maker who wants to be a real father.

Shadows, illusion and specially composed music mix to create a wonderfully inventive, visually and verbally witty show with a big heart. Pinocchio is carved on stage, brushes become a fox and the shadow of two saws transforms into a giant shark making each show unique.

Award winning theatre company Indefinite Articles are at the forefront of the new wave of British puppetry and its members have worked with the RSC, Improbable Theatre and the Mighty Boosh.

Chelmsley Wood Libary is located in Stephenson Drive, Chelmsley Wood – Tel 0121 788 4380 – but you can buy for either show from Arts Complex Box office.
