Observations
-
I saw this production in Newcastle upon Tyne at the Theatre Royal in1966 or 67 . Valentine Palmer played Robert with enormous energy . I enjoyed the performance so much I went to see it several times, from the gods as I was only a student at the time. I preferred this production to the cast on the record that I was given …the whole cast seemed to be enjoying themselves and I have tried to find a mention of this production without success until now … Thank you.. after fifty years it has stayed with me as one of the most entertaining shows I have seen and , yes, I have been a regular theatre-goer… I can’t now, remember the rest of the cadt, but Valentine Palmer played Robert..
