Observations

1. On 22^nd November 2009 at 12:45 p.m., Antonia Davis noted:

   I remember when Van Johnson cut off the tip of his finger during the railway carriage scene. The carriage door was slammed on his finger but he didn’t realised at first how badly he was hurt. The next scene starts with him sitting on his suitcase with his back to the audience but when he stood up to sing he looked at his finger which was pouring blood said “oh s**t!” and passed out then the iron curtain was brought down and he and the tip of his finger were rushed to Charing Cross hospital where it was stitched back on. In the photo of me and Van Johnson you can see the bandaged finger on my shoulder.
