For – The Touch of Fear.“ this week’s play by the Unicorn Players in the Paignton Palace Avenue Theatre, Michelle Johnstone has designed the most notable set seen in the theatre this season. It was loudly applauded by the first-night audience. The play is a thriller as the title suggests, and the story revolves around a nursery governess, played by Anthea Boyle, who is found dead, soon after being given her notice. Principal parts are played by David Cole, Shirley Thieman, Norris Stayton. James Beck, and Sybil Ewbank. James Mooney and Mary Hallewell take supporting roles.
