Look Back in Anger

This production was advertised as ‘the first major revival of LOOK BACK IN ANGER’ and transferred to the West End in December 1968.

LOOK BACK IN ANGER concerns a love triangle involving an intelligent and educated but disaffected young man of working-class origin (Jimmy Porter), his upper-middle-class, impassive wife (Alison), and her haughty best friend (Helena Charles). Cliff, an amiable Welsh lodger, attempts to keep the peace.
