On 30^th September 2011 at 11:50 a.m., Bob Edwards noted:

I saw the revue, “Talk of the Town” at the Adelphi in 1955, with Jimmy Edwards, Dave King and Shirley Bassey. This was not the Al Read show, “Such is Life” as some sites have it. Nor should it be confused with the Talk of the Town showplace , which replaced the London Hippodrome in 1958.
On 19^th December 2023 at 6:40 p.m., CDB_at_Theatricalia noted:

Seventy years ago today my Mum and Dad were married, after which they had a short honeymoon in London, attending this production, as the programme for it is definitely the one I have seen elsewhere on the Web, which I would instantly recognise. This makes me question those production dates quoted – 17^th November 1954 to 10^th December 1955, unless there was a production at the Adelphi Theatre with an identical programme that pre-dated the one featured here.
