Observations
-
I saw this production at the hippodrome. I went with my parents and brothers in 1954 when I was five. I only remember one scene. Two men were in the woods which were very bright and colourful. They were probably comedians. One was behind the other and was pulling on the braces holding up his trousers which then stretched right out. I remember it clearly because I thought it was the skin on his body being stretched which frightened me to death!! So while everyone else laughed I didn’t.
