The Brighton preview week was extended to two when fog in the UK and a dock strike in New York prevented the company from sailing on Thursday 9th December. (‘Chit Chat’, The Stage 9th December 1948, page 6.)
The Broadway run totalled 15 performances. Two weeks after closing, Jack Buchanan took over the lead role in the West End production (qv).
