The Hollow
The opening week of this 40-week tour (at Hayes) was reportedly a total sell-out. (‘100 per cent for Hollow’, The Stage 28th February 1982, page 2.) The Canterbury week, however, incurred a loss of £1,257, for which Newpalm Productions was controversially recompensed by Canterbury City Council. (‘Council meets production loss’, The Stage 15th July 1982, page 10.)
Mollie Sugden appeared for the first two months only, with Margot Thomas taking over in mid-April.
