Lady Windermere’s Fan
Tour of the Tennent revival that had just completed an 18-month run in the West End (qv).
At Coventry, Athene Seyler and other cast members were extremely unhappy about being required to perform on Good Friday. She and stage director Robert Young donated their salaries for that day to the Cathedral Reconstruction Fund.
