“I now learned the most important lesson of my career. There was a character actor called Frank in the company. I don’t even remember his second name … One night, during the performance, I carelessly missed an entrance. At the end of the show this actor called the company together, and asked them to stay on stage. Then, in front of everybody, he tore into me. He was absolutely right to do so.
