Young Woodley
The Lord Chamberlain’s ban on this play was lifted when he saw the club performance at the Arts Theatre, enabling its transfer to the Savoy. (‘Chit Chat’, The Stage 23rd February 1928, page 14.)
Having originated the role of Laura Simmons, Kathleen O’Regan came back to it when her replacement, Frances Doble, fell ill. (‘Chit Chat’, The Stage 21st June 1928, page 15.)
