Unless I’m mistaken, this is the production that Edith Jesse Thompson and her husband Percey attended on the night he was murdered by her lover Frederick Bywaters.
On 11^th May 2023 at 11:30 a.m., CSEW2304 noted:

Yes it was, Percy was murdered by Freddy as he (Percy) and Edith we’re walking back to their home in Ilford after seeing The Dippers – I believe the date was 3 October 1922. Rene Weis, in his biography of Edith (Criminal Justice) has a description of the play and of the programme, and there is a picture of Cyril Maude and Binnie Hale appearing in the production on the Edith Thompson website.
