A Royal Divorce
This specific production does not yet have a description, but the play itself does:
Standing room was scarcely available at the Theatre Royal, last night, the attraction being “A Royal Divorce.” The production is prosecuted by a company of exceptional merit, amongst whom Mr Frederick Moyes and Miss Edith Blande figure conspicuously. The former represents the character of Napoleon, and completely enthrals his audience by his vigorous and powerful acting. In the role of Josephine, Miss Blande is charming, and her efforts last night evoked the highest appreciation.
