Observations

I believe Richard Pasco played Hamlet in this production; Jane Asher played Ophelia; and Richard Glyn Lewis played Guildenstern. If anyone has any additional information about this production, or would like to know the full cast list, please feel free to contact me.

Johannah is incorrect here. Jane Asher did not play Ophelia – it was Barbara Leigh Hunt. There were 2 other productions in the season, that toured North America, Europe & Israel.: Romeo & Juliet, in which Jane played Juliet. & Measure for Measure, in which she played the smaller part of Juliet ( or Julietta). Jane Asher was not in the Hamlet production. Gawn Grainger was Romeo, & Laertes.
I was in all 3 productions, understudying, & ‘walking on’, as an acting ASM, as they had in those days. It was my first job & incredibly exciting
