Antony and Cleopatra is Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy and tells of the scandalous affair between the heroic Roman general Mark Antony and the ambitious Egyptian queen Cleopatra. Their tempestuous love affair struggles to survive as the politics and the demands of Ancient Rome and Egypt tear them apart. Their passion for each other leads to their ultimate downfall and death.
Drawing inspiration from classical productions and adding a Brechtian twist, Infinity’s production of Antony and Cleopatra promises to be one of the most exciting productions of the year.
