Observations

At age 17 I went with a school group to Stratford from Hull. We stayed one night in Stratford and saw Henry VI part one, Henry VI part two, and, next day, Henry V (which had been our O level set book) . Ian Holm played Prince Henry and Henry V – other actors were also in all 3 plays. Complete overload for a teenager who had never been to a ‘proper’ theatre. But also very inspiring.
