This production’s original NT run, starting on 30th April 1988, ended on 3rd September. It was revived on 17th December, running till 4th March 1989, and revived again from 10th August 1989 to 27th January 1990.

I think this was the first full use of the revolve which had teething problems for a long time.

Marvelous play, loved the rotating stage. The little dog stole the show though.
