The Winter’s Tale

The play opened at the Edinburgh Festival in August 1966 & followed that with a critically acclaimed run in London’s West End at the Cambridge Theatre starting on Sept. 30, 1966. During Nov. 1966 The Winter’s Tale was filmed for the cinema – but it was never theatrically released. In 1968 it was finally released by Warner Bros. & screened in private venues such as college campus theaters.
