The Tempest

AUTUMN TOUR 1962

The Old Vic Company brought two Shakespeare plays to Sheffield in the week commencing 24th September 1962. Julius Caesar was presented Monday and Tuesday evenings, and Wednesday matinee and evening. Performances of The Tempest were given Thursday and Friday evenings, and Saturday matinee and evening.

The cast for Julius Caesar included Robert Eddison as Cassius, Joseph O’Conor as Brutus, Mary Kerridge as Portia, Maurice Good as Antony, Emrys James as Julius Caesar and Octavius Caesar, Rosemary Dunham as Calpurnia, Charles West as Marullus and Michael Turner as Flavius.
