The Marriage of Figaro

Mozart’s most popular opera is back in an exciting new production from Martin Lloyd-Evans who directed MWO’s highly successful La Bohème in 2007.

Figaro, one of opera’s most celebrated characters, is planning to marry his beloved Susanna. But the lascivious Count Almaviva and the colourful members of his aristocratic household have other ideas. All Figaro’s wit and cunning is required before Mozart’s enchanting masterpiece comes to a happy conclusion.

With an accomplished cast drawn from the National Opera Companies and accompanied by MWO’s acclaimed orchestral ensemble under Keith Darlington, this promises to be yet another exhilarating evening of theatre performed in the Company’s uniquely entertaining style.
