The Fever
While visiting a poverty-stricken country far from home, the unnamed narrator of The Fever is forced to witness the political persecution occurring just beyond a hotel window. A discomforting journey into the mind of a middle-class New Yorker as he begins to question the validity of his cosy existence. How painful is it to relinquish the fruits of privilege?
