Nottingham Playhouse (Goldsmith Street)

The original site of Nottingham Playhouse before it moved to a custom-built venue on Wellington Circus.

The converted cinema on the corner of Goldsmith Street and Talbot Street housed Nottingham Playhouse between 1948 and 1963. It was previously known as the Little Theatre or New Repertory Theatre before becoming the Nottingham Playhouse.
