Torch Theatre, Knightsbridge, London

Theatre club located at 37 Wilton Place, Knightsbridge, London SW1, subsequently moving to number 50. Opened on 27^th September 1938 with Romain Rolland’s THE GAME OF LOVE AND DEATH. Reopened under new management on 3^rd October 1951, its name adjusted to the New Torch Theatre, with a revival of Bernard Shaw’s CANDIDA. Closed circa May 1954.
