Gateway Theatre Club

Located at 18 Chepstow Villas, London W11. Originally opened as the Threshold Theatre Club on 12^th April 1940, under the direction of Elwyn Brook-Jones and Jean Erskine. Relaunched as the Gateway Theatre Club in August 1943, then moved to new premises at 103 Westbourne Grove, London W2 in June 1948. The Chepstow Villas venue had been rebranded the Chepstow Theatre Club in March of that year.
