Sheila Mercier

She was the sister of actor / producer Brian Rix and until her marriage in 1951 to actor Peter Mercier she was credited as Sheila Rix.

As well as many stage appearances, often with her brother, she appeared for many years as Annie Sugden in the TV soap Emmerdale
