Beryl Seton

Beryl Seton, born 24 April 1913 in London, died age 98 on 25 December 2011 in Sri Lanka, first performed as a dancer on the London stage when she was 12. Her varied career included appearing in revues in London, Paris and Berlin, leading her own theatrical troupe performing for troops in Britain, 1939–45, and staring in Finnian’s Rainbow at the Palace Theatre London in 1947. She also appeared in rep for two years in Australia. In the late 1950s she retired from the stage to become a theatrical agent and among her clients were Donald Sutherland and David Hemmings. She married for the third time to Patrick Harding-Marsh. an auctioneer and property developer, after she had relocated to France.
