Nita Croft

Nita Croft (1902–1987), born Nita Pycroft, was an English stage actress and vocalist.

First printed reference – a classified advert in ‘The Stage’ 5 Oct 1922: “Nita Croft, Soprano, At liberty immediately. Revue or Vaudeville.”

Croft sang and danced in musicals, and had a hit record, “When It’s Sunset on the Nile” (1931), but also starred in pantomimes. She was featured in the tobacco card series “Beauties of Today” in the 1930s.
