Margaret Morris

The famous dancer, choreographer and teacher was born in Kensington in 1891 and died in Glasgow 1980. She was the first proponent of the Isadora Duncan technique in Britain and founded the Margaret Morris Movement, Celtic ballet and two Scottish National Ballets in Glasgow, 1947 and Pitlochry 1960.
