Peter Roy Reid

Peter Roy Reid was a British actor and writer. He studied drama at The Marley Youth Centre, The Mountview Theatre Club, and E15 Acting School. He toured with The Lincoln Theatre Company & The Orchard Theatre Company, Beaford, North Devon. He set up a theatre company called ‘J.PETERLU Productions’ with his best friend, John Hartley, and John’s wife, Mary Luisa. He performed at the Alexandra Theatre, Ilfracombe, The Plough Arts Centre, Great Torrington, and The Lobster Pot, Instow, North Devon. He wrote a musical with Steve Hunt, called ‘A Change of A Dress’, and a novel called, ‘Kalinka and The Castle Condom: A Space Odyssey’ (a sci-fi comedy). He was married to the British actress, Vilma Stuttle (died in 1973), they had one child, Imogen Alison Reid. He is survived by his second wife, Sonia Rachel Reid, their two sons, Jack Reid and James Owen Reid, and Jack’s daughter, Jaya Reid. Peter’s youngest son is also an actor, his stage name is James Bailey.
