THE MANAGEMENT of the Westminster Theatre have regret fully accepted the decision of C. C. Pither to retire on October 14. Mr. Pither has spent many years in London West End theatres; was production manager at the Ambassadors during the “Sweet Low” series with Hermione Gingold which were directed by Charles Hickman, with whom he worked on a number of other productions. Nineteen years ago he came to the Westminster with the “Black Chiffon” Company, starring Flora Robson and stayed on as theatre manager.
