Nigel Peever

Nigel Started acting professionally aged 14 with The Rollingstock Theatre Company in Paul Goetzee’s The Runners in 1980. After a busy period of local amateur dramatics he was offered his equity card in weekly Rep with Garrick House Limited at the Lyceum Theatre in Crewe aged 18 where he appeared in numerous rep shows including Having a Ball, No More Sitting on the Old School Bench, Second Honeymoon, Bent, and most notably as Toad in Wind in the Willows for the Christmas season.
Nigel toured extensively with Danny Davies Productions as Branwell in The Bronte Story (Brewhouse Theatre, Taunton. Gaiety Theatre, Isle of Man etc) The Tarts and the Vicar’s Wife as Henry the Curate and in Towards Zero as Ted Latimer
He has also had a prolific pantomime career appearing at Wakefield Theatre Royal 6 times, Civic Theatre Doncaster 3 times, Georgian Theatre Richmond 3 times, Civic theatre Halifax, Civic Theatre Leeds, Princes Hall Aldershot, Octagon Theatre Yeovil, Embassy Centre Skegness, Pavillion Theatre Rhyl, Theatre Royal St Helens, Empire Theatre Wisbech, Lyceum Theatre Crewe, Theatre Royal Hanley, Empire Theatre Sunderland. in 2013 he is due to appear at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon.
