James Corden
One the basis of “One Man, Two Guv’nors” at the National (a reinterpretation of Goldini’s “Servant of Two Masters”), James Corden has established himself as a brilliantly gifted actor in the most demanding, virtuosic repertoire. His ability to contribute as an ensemble player- the entire cast is faultless – is matched by a stand-up’s nerve for assessing the pulse of the audience. I have rarely seen such charisma and quick thinking onstage. My only concern is that in such a long and strenuous run his health may suffer.
