Gary Underwood

Gary graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in 1992. He has worked on over 100 theatre productions as Designer or Assistant Designer, as well as films and corporate events. As a Designer he has produced designs for Bristol Old Vic, Nottingham Playhouse (6 consecutive xmas shows for Kenneth Alan Taylor), Queens Theatre London, Edinburgh Festival Theatre and West Yorkshire Playhouse, amongst others. As Assistant Designer he has worked with Ralph Koltai, Francis O’Connor, Timothy O’Brien, Maria Bjornson and Nigel Lowery. He currently teaches model making at Bournemouth University and occasionally acts as a theatre design consultant.
