Roger Bulpitt’s profile
This writer has spent many years in amateur productions acting in musicals and plays with Plymouth’s premier amateur company, The Tamaritans, playing a vicar and headmaster amongst various role although my favourite was Grumio – Petruchio’s manservant in The Taming of the Shrew.
I was fortunate enough to be cast as a wrecker in Daphne Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn.
All the action took place on a revolving stage which turned to provide the backdrop of Bodmin Moor, the Inn and the bedroom – a superb piece of equipment.
