Originally a UK tour, with 80-year-old McKellen celebrating his birthday, performing and reminiscing about his life and career while raising money for theatre charities.
At the end of the tour 86 theatres had been visited for 175 performances. These were followed by a 15-week run at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London.
