Trap for a Lonely Man
English version, by Lucienne Hill and John Sutro, of the Robert Thomas play PIEGE POUR UN HOMME SEUL. This was the UK premiere.
The character names are as given in The Stage’s review from Westcliff (13th September 1962, page 17). The following week, the Wimbledon programme used the non-specific names that would be adopted in the 1963 West End production (qv) – ie: THE MAN, THE INSPECTOR, THE PRIEST, THE LADY, THE TRAMP, THE NURSE, THE POLICEMAN.
