Murder Without Crime
A note in the programme states that owing to the sudden indisposition of Roland Cream the role of Matthew was taken at extremely short notice by David Calderisi.

Play description
In 1935 J Lee Thompson wrote a play called “Double Error” which was presented at the Fortune Theatre. “Murder Without Crime” appears to have a similar plot and could be considered a revised version. The 1950 film version, also called “Murder Without Crime” and directed by J Lee Thompson as his first film, is quoted by some sources as being an adaptation of “Double Error”.
