Spine Chiller

Preview weeks took place at the Theatre Royal, Norwich (14th-19th November 1977) and Theatre Royal, Brighton (21st-26th November 1977), with Sian Phillips co-starring opposite Ronald Hines rather than Paul Daneman.

SPINE CHILLER … about the worst play and acting seen in London in the past decade or two … I’m being bitchy? Hardly. Critics and first nighters from the profession are, alas, at one in their amazement. A pity, because author George Baxt’s reputation as a mystery writer is high.” – Tavistock, ‘Chit Chat’, The Stage 12th January 1978 (page 12).
