Brief Lives
Adapted from the writings of John Aubrey. In his adaptation, Patrick Garland has invented a character to play John Aubrey, which is nothing like the real Aubrey, a character that is a decrepit old man who lives in a run down house full of curiosities. Directed by Garland and produced by James Barber and the Theatre of Comedy in association with the Bristol Old Vic, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford and Churchill Theatre, Bromley.
