This was a commeercial production of David Storey;’s play Home, translated by Bert Voeten for Dytch speaking audiences in The Netherlands and Bellgium. The producer managed to create a fine cast of actors very memorable to audiences in these countries as being the finest of their generation, like Gielgood and Richardsaon were respected in England and much attention to details was addressed in respect of the translation with the fantastic erudite engagement of actress Hetty Blok and the director’s assistant to make this production worthy of its launch in one of The Netherlands finest theatres, the Leidse Schouwburg in Leiden.
