Observations
-
I saw the last dress rehearsal infront of an audience. We picked up the tickets early and could hear Peter Land being berated for his singing!
At the performance the curtain came down for an early interval. A man appeared to apologize for difficulties and that the interval would be early. He ended by saying “By the way I wrote the book.” By the time the audience realised he didn’t mean Shaw, Alan Jay Lerner had disappeared.
