It’s the Geography that Counts
On its pre-London tour dates, this murder-mystery was called THE MAN IN QUESTION. With no other West End theatre to transfer to, its London run was curtailed by the final closure (prior to demolition) of the St James’s Theatre. Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh joined cast and crew after the final show to toast the theatre from the stage. (‘Last Curtain Rings Down at the St James’s’, Sunday Dispatch 28th July 1957, page 1.)
